Giles founded Interim & Executive Professionals with the belief that clients and candidates can get much more added value from a recruitment business when consultants have extensive experience and knowledge of that sector. With a strong understanding of the Healthcare market, and more importantly the talent within it, Giles has proven to be a trusted partner to many organisations looking for the best talent in the market.

Giles is very proud of that fact that the success of Interim Professionals has been built on long-standing relationships and referrals. This repeat business is testament to the levels of service and the quality of candidates that Giles can offer his clients.

The recruitment journey for Giles started over 20 years ago and has largely been NHS and Healthcare focussed but also a stint internationally as well. The last 12 years have been dedicated to building a network and reputation in the senior NHS and Healthcare markets.

Nicola Brooks

Financial Recruitment

Nicola joined Interim & Executive Professionals in June 2016, bringing with her almost 20 years of experience in NHS recruitment and search. Born and raised in Scotland, Nicola moved to London in 1998 after graduating, rapidly rising to Manager at Michael Page International. She then spent 10 years at Allen Lane as Director of their NHS business focusing predominantly on Finance but also starting up businesses in HR, IT and Commissioning and playing a key role in the Company’s growth from 5 people to a successful team of 30.

Nicola’s strengths and passion lie in identifying and recruiting quality executive level talent into the NHS, working with a tight network of excellent professionals and using her experience within the NHS to understand the challenges her clients and candidates face to provide them with innovative and practical solutions to their problems. Over a 20 year period, Nicola’s success has developed through recommendations and repeat business from her reputation for hard work, strong values, honest approach and high standards.

Outside of work Nicola loves spending time with her husband, twin daughters and extended family. She is happy to bore anyone who asks about her netball team and also loves running, football, skiing and going to the theatre and is partial to the odd glass of wine.

Joanna started her recruitment career at Michael Page Finance in 1999, spending several years recruiting finance professionals before moving to Australia.  Joanna developed her career working for the in-house recruitment team for a leading investment bank in Australia and transferred back to London with them but then took the plunge in 2012 to establish Interim Professionals with her husband Giles.  Joanna set up and led IP’s operational support team, bringing her efficiency and personal touch to payroll, invoicing and credit control and basically underpinning everything that a successful business needs to exist – whilst at the same time bringing up 3 young Farmers!

In 2020 Joanna chose to return to the fold of recruitment, focusing on Interim Finance for NHS provider Trusts, and enjoys using her experience “on both sides of the fence” to give her a better understanding of clients and candidates, enabling her to provide a superior level of service and exceed people’s expectations.

A fitness fanatic, and a former athlete, Jo now keeps fit at her local crossfit gym and spends her spare time socialising with friends. Jo mixes a mean espresso martini and loves spending time with her family and walking the dog.

Rupert Mitchell
Associate Director

Rupert joined Interim Professionals in spring 2017 to further develop a successful career recruiting senior interim managers supporting major change programmes within healthcare.

Over the last 10 years he has had the opportunity to recruit across the healthcare system both at a local and national level supporting commissioning organisations, providers of healthcare, Government bodies and the private sector. This has given him unique exposure to a variety of initiatives, organisations and people and he is passionate about improving the healthcare system.

Before joining Interim Professionals Rupert spent his earlier career working for established interim recruitment firms and the interim management practice of a leading executive search firm. He was drawn to Interim Professionals for their model for providing a bespoke solution based around quality and values and reputation within the sector for constant delivery. He is excited to grow the brand and opportunity to work with a small professional team of fellow healthcare recruiters who are experts within their field.

Originally from Wiltshire Rupert loves being outdoors and in his spare time can be found putting in some laps at his local velodrome and is a founder member of the Interim Professionals running club. He dreams one day of combining his passion for racing cars with a growing addiction for French cheese and becoming the next street food sensation.

Daniel Nachshon
Business Manager

Daniel joined Interim Professionals in the Summer of 2019 after 10 years successfully recruiting clinical locums to the NHS, seeing the opportunity to join Interim Professionals as a natural next-step in his career and an opportunity to use his skills to provide his clients with more specialised and targeted recruitment solutions.

Over the course of his career Daniel has always built and maintained lasting relationships by treating every client & candidate as an individual with specific skills, needs and abilities thus avoiding the more mass-market ‘by the numbers’ approach.

He is excited at this new opportunity and looks at it as a chance to grow whilst being confident that the core values he has stuck with to this point will stand him in good stead as he embarks on the next chapter in his career.

In his spare time, Daniel spends as much time as possible with his family. He is also a keen runner and gym goer, firmly of the belief that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. He can be found most Saturday mornings at his local Park Run.

Becky Booth
Associate Director

Becky joined Interim Professionals in March 2020 and brings more than a decade’s experience working with the NHS. Having spent her early career in pharmaceutical sales, Becky kicked off her NHS recruitment career in 2011 at Allen Lane. Becky quickly rose through the ranks through several promotions – and after maternity leave – Nicola recruited Becky for a second time, having first hired her at Allen Lane.

As an NHS finance specialist, Becky prides herself on working closely with both clients and candidates to help deliver high quality and innovative solutions to any staffing problem.
With a long history working with London Trusts and Commissioning organisations, Becky enjoys forging long-term relationships based on a detailed understanding of her candidates’ and clients’ needs.

As a northerner, Becky believes there isn’t much that can’t be solved over a good brew. She also loves socialising with friends and spending time with her two young sons. Becky is also known for her sheer determination, when she sets her mind on something she is often described as a force to be reckoned with! Whether it’s home renovations, travelling, climbing mountains – or recruitment, Becky throws herself into her projects passionately and with a trademark enthusiasm.

Scott Davies

Scott joined Interim Professionals in January 2021 after nearly 5 years supporting healthcare organisations across various disciplines including finance, commercial development, change and transformation. Possessing a real affinity for the NHS, Scott is focussed on providing interim management (predominantly finance) to Commissioners, Community Providers and Social Enterprises as they navigate the ever-changing NHS landscape.

Having worked for both boutique and large corporate recruitment consultancies previously, Scott prides himself on market insight & knowledge, and the emphasis he puts on personal service for candidates and clients. This personal and personable approach is the reason he wanted to work alongside the team at Interim Professionals who have consistently proven their ability to deliver in difficult circumstances, think outside the box to solve clients problems, and help secure interesting career developing opportunities for candidates.

Originally hailing from the other side of the Severn Bridge, Scott is about as patriotic as you can get about his Welsh roots (without actually being able to speak much of the language!). A keen musician, Scott has been lucky enough to perform with bands and ensembles on stages across the UK and even Europe, but now prefers to spend his spare time walking around a rugby field or in the bunker on a golf course somewhere.

Gillian Naaman
Finance & Operations Manager

Gillian trained in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational London and The Royal Academy of Music, where she was subsequently honoured as an Associate. Gillian has performed professionally in London’s West End including in Les Miserables, One Man Two Guv’nors, ENRON and Umbrellas of Cherbourg. As well as performing for the Queen and being a backing singer for Elton John, Gillian’s career highlights include joining Interim Professionals’ Operations team in early 2019, where she now heads up the payroll and invoicing functions, ensuring the back office runs smoothly and efficiently.

With 2 enthusiastic toddlers Gillian amazingly still has the energy to do regular HIIT classes, and turned her house into a luxury gym during Covid lockdown. Gillian loves socialising with friends and family, theatre, badminton, skiing and running and is an avid supporter of her home ice hockey team, Fife Flyers.

Karen Farmer
Credit Control Manager

Karen joined Interim Professionals in the Summer of 2016 after taking a career break to raise her two children.

Having previously worked as cabin crew for FlyBe for eight years and working her way up to the role as Base Manager, she was excited at the opportunity for a career change in joining the team at Interim Professionals.

Karen thoroughly enjoys her job in Credit Control. Having previously worked in the customer services sector she is passionate about good customer relations and building up a good rapport with clients.

When she is not looking after the invoices Karen spends her time running and is totally addicted to Metafit.
